AUTO_DP_1: Spare Parts (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Discrete Industries & Mill Products, Enhancement Package 4 (ECC-DIMP 604), Business Function Dealer Portal, Vehicle Management System, Spare Parts, Enterprise Services (AUTO_DP_1), the following functions are available for spare parts processing in the Dealer Portal:

  • Order Management for Spare Parts
  • You can create orders with different order types (including return orders); change, copy, delete, and simulate orders, print order confirmations, and save orders in XML format.

  • You can cancel orders with a rejection reason.

  • You can search for orders using search criteria.

  • You can create order items by using predefined templates that contain materials and quantities. You can even create and delete templates yourself.

  • You can select and create order items from a catalog.

  • Shopping Basket
One shopping basket is available for each user. You can add materials (spare parts) as items to your shopping basket and delete them if necessary. If you create an order for the materials in the shopping basket, the system copies the items of the shopping basket to a new order and then deletes them from the shopping basket.
  • Search Functions
  • You can search for order to check their status or edit them. From the results list, you can create new orders, and copy, change, delete, and print orders.

  • You can search for order items with parts to be returned that the original equipment manufacturer / importer has flagged as parts to be returned in the back-end system. From the results list, you can create a return order for these items.

  • You can search for deliveries that the original equipment manufacturer / importer has created for your orders in the back-end system. From the results list, you can select a delivery and create a return order.

  • You can search for invoices that the original equipment manufacturer / importer has created for your orders and their deliveries in the back-end system. From the results list, you can display detailed information for an invoice as well as its associated orders and deliveries.

  • You can search for materials and display information from the material master record, the availability check and price information for these materials.

  • Personalization
You can tailor the spare parts processing display in the dealer portal to meet your user-specific needs..

To be able to use these functions, you must activate the following business functions:

  • Discrete Industries - Mill Products (DIMP_SDUD)
  • Sales and Distribution (LOG_SD_CI_01)
  • Dealer Portal, Veh. Mgmt Syst., Spare Parts, Enterpr. Serv. (AUTO_DP_1)
