BAPIs in Handling Unit Management (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP Catch Weight Management 2.0, you can use all the Business Application Interfaces for the Handling Unit Management (LO-HU) component.

To enable quantities to be entered and processed in the second unit of measure (parallel unit of measure), CWM-specific parameters were added to the business object handling unit (business object type BUS3070). The parameters were appended to the interfaces as standalone structures:

• Create Handling Unit with Items (method Create, Function module BAPI_HU_CREATE)

• Select Handling Units for Delivery, Shipment, Production Order etc (method Getlist, function module BAPI_HU_GETLIST)

• Pack Item in a Handling Unit (method Pack, function module BAPI_HU_PACK)

• Repack Handling Units and Handling Unit Items (method Repack, function module BAPI_HU_REPACK)

• Unpack Item from a Handling Unit (method Unpack, function module BAPI_HU_UNPACK)

The following methods were not enhanced. However, you can also use these for catch weight materials.

• Delete Handling Units (method Delete, function module BAPI_HU_DELETE)

• Display History for a Handling Unit (method DisplayHistory, function module BAPI_HU_DISPLAY_HISTORY)

• Select Handling Unit Messages (method GetListOutput, function module BAPI_HU_GET_LIST_MSG)

• Process Handling Unit Messages (method ProcessOutput, function module BAPI_HU_PROCESS_MSG)

• Select and Process Handling Unit Messages (method ProcessOutputDirect, function moduleBAPI_HU_PROCESS_MSG_DIRECT)

• Change Handling Unit Header Data (function module BAPI_HU_CHANGE_HEADER)
