Overview and Extended Maintenance of Academic Work (Enhanced)

Use

As of release 4.72, you can use the extended maintenance dialog to delete an academic work object in its entirety. You can access this function in the following way:

  1. Call the extended maintenance dialog from the student file (transaction PIQST10), and choose a student.
  2. Choose Goto -> Academic Work Overview.
The Academic Work Overview (Extended Maintenance Dialog) screen appears.
  1. Select the academic work you wish to delete, and then choose Edit Academic Work.
The Change Academic Work detail screen appears.
  1. Choose Academic Work -> Delete (Ctrl + F2)

If the academic work you are deleting contains an appraisal or where-used entries for the program or program type, the system also deletes these. Moreover, the system will delete any event bookings for module work. This enhanced function makes it easier to delete incorrect entries than was possible in the past.

The following fields have been added to the Change Academic Work detail screen:

  • Appraisal remark
  • Start and end date of the appraisal
