ISHERCM_EXT_IAP: Specialization Bookings per Stage (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Higher Education, Enhancement Package 4, Business Function SAP Student Lifecycle Management: Implementation Accelerator(ISHERCM_EXT_IAP) you can benefit from some new developments for specialization bookings.

It is now possible to book specializations for a selected stage. The dialog box for specialization bookings now contains a field where the user can select a stage for which the assignment is valid.

You make the settings for this function in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management under Processes in Student Lifecycle Management -> Academic Specialization Booking -> Allow Specializations to be Assigned to Stages.

Furthermore, there is a BAdI available that allows you to determine the module group variant for the Program of Study. It can be found in the Customizing underProcesses in Student Lifecycle Management -> Academic Specialization Booking -> BAdI: Derive Stage-Dependent Module Group Variant.
