Fee Distribution and Module Group Fees (Changed)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0, Business Function SLCM, Implementation Accelerator Package (IAP) (ISHERCM_MAIN_IAP), an enhancement is available for controlling object (CO) fee distribution during fee calculation. You can calculate and post fees related to module groups. A new fee distribution infotype is available (infotype 1759).

The following object types are affected:

  • Event package
  • Module
  • Module group
  • Program of study
  • Organizational unit
  • Location

To integrate the new fee distribution infotype in fee calculation, additional rule elements are available, and these evaluate the new infotype. You can also use the new infotype to maintain business area and reporting segments. The fields are taken into consideration during fee calculation and posting.

The field segment and business area are now also available in the grant master data. These fields are evaluated in grant calculation.

You can calculate and post one module group fee per program of study. A new infotype is offered for module groups to maintain the module group fee category (infotype 1754), which is evaluated later in fee calculation.

You can preselect a module group for pricing in a customizing table and, where necessary, change a module group in a further Business Add-In (BAdI).

To calculate module group fees, you must first define module group fee categories and the relevant module group for which you would like to calculate fees.

You make the settings for this function in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management under the chapter Student Lifecycle Management -> Student Lifecycle Management Master Data -> Academic Structure -> Module Groups -> Fee Calculation Data

The standard delivery contains additional rule elements. You can view them and use them for new rules.

You make the settings for this function in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management by choosing Student Lifecycle Management -> Student Accounting -> Fees -> Pricing -> Integration with Controlling: CO Account Assignments -> Define CO Rule Elements and Assign Function Modules.
