ISHMED_SCD: OP-System - Close Gaps in OR Plan Automatically (New)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 605), business function Clinical System Situation Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD), you can have the system automatically close time gaps that have occurred in the OR plan in the Surgeries view type of the clinical work station.
Prior to enhancement package 5, the automatic closing of gaps in the OR plan was standard system behavior and could not be activated or deactivated as an option.
As of enhancement package 5, you can control whether the system is to automatically close gaps that have occurred in the OR plan. To do this, use the Automatically Close Gaps in OR Plan checkbox on the Planning tab page in the selection variant of the Surgeries view type as follows:
- Checkbox is not selected (default value):
- Time gaps between surgeries will be retained unless a user manually closes them using the planning functions of the Surgeries view type or another planning tool.
- Checkbox is selected:
- The system automatically closes time gaps between surgeries. This means that when an appointment is planned, the system will also replan other surgeries of the same operating room, if necessary.
Surgeries for which the Appointment Fixed Manually indicator is set are excluded from automatic replanning.
