New Authorizations in the OR Module
Use
As of Release 4.63a, it is possible to allocate new authorizations for "Start Surgery", "Complete Material Documentation", and "Create Secondary Surgery". You can also restrict a user or a group of users from calling the surgery monitor.
The authorization objects related to these are:
- N_OP_MON:,,
Activity "OM": Call Surgery Monitor
- N_OP_BEG: ,,
Activity "OP": Start Surgery
Activity "OV": Complete Material Entry
- N_OP_NEBEN:,,
Activity "ON": Create Secondary Surgery
The system transfers the corresponding N_OP_ALL authorizations into the authorization profiles N_OP_ALL and N_OP_NEW. You must change your surgery authorization profiles before the put for the productive system to version 4.63a. If these authorizations are missing, this will prohibit the corresponding user from setting a surgery to "Start" or from calling the surgery monitor.
It is important to deny the authorizations for "Start Surgery" and "Create Secondary Surgery" from any users having access to the function "Surgery Monitor" outside of the OR module (i.e., clinical work station).
Complete Material Entry is a new function in 4.63a. This completes the material documentation and then triggers subsequent processes (transfer to MM, transfer to CO, etc.) In an OR Installation, a working group is defined which usually carries out a corresponding control function, where only this working group is allowed to complete material documentation.
