Calculation of the Utilization of Operating Rooms (Report RN1OPAST)

Use

You can use the program RN1OPAST to evaluate how long an operating room will be utilized inside of and outside of the opening times.

Before Release 4.63, it was only possible to relate the calculation of the stored time between two surgery time stamps.

Ex.: Surgery duration from incision to suture. The system calculated utilization based only on the surgery duration between incision and suture.

Starting with version 4.63a, you can also run calculations for the occupancy based on the chronologically first and last time stamp of the surgeries. You activate this option in the initial screen of the program by using the option "Total Duration" in the Group Box "Calculation of Duration".

In this case, the system uses the chronologically first and last time stamps, which can be different from surgery to surgery, as a basis for the calculation of the duration. The system then compares these durations to the total time available for an operating room inside of and outside of the opening times.
