Dialog Flow When Creating Documents (Changed)

Use

We have changed the dialog flow when creating a document:

  • You can create an unchanged (empty) document; as a result the system will ask whether you wish to save when you execute the return command. Once you have saved, the document is in change mode.
  • The following commands are no longer available in create mode:
  • Status network

  • Status log

  • Change document management data

  • Display document management data

  • Diagnoses

  • Subsequent service entry

  • Pushbuttons which call other applications must be defined with the confirmation prompt option, so that you are forced to save before the application is called.

Effects on Existing Data

If your parameterized documents contain functions which branch to another application, you should ensure that the document is saved before the system branches.
