Planning Grid: Display Variants (New)

Use

In Release 4.72 you can define display variants for the planning grid. A display variant is an individual configuration of a planning grid call.

You can use a display variant to define the presentation mode of a planning grid and select the tab pages. You can select a weekday with which you call the planning grid, and the number of days which should be displayed. You can also determine that the number of days to be displayed should only refer to specific weekdays, for example, only Mondays and Wednesdays. The system will then display, for example, the next 3 Mondays.

Additionally, it is possible to sort planning objects and organizational units (OUs).

You can also determine that you wish to hide columns if no planning authority or day program exists.

You define a display variant in the Settings of the planning grid.

You can assign each display variant

  • to one caller
A caller is a combination of a role, user, call mode, and planning OU.
  • to a view of the appointment planning view type

If several display variants are assigned to one caller, you can dynamically toggle between the display variants. It is always possible to display the planning grid in the standard variant.

Display variants are for one specific institution. However, you cannot explicitly assign a display variant to an institution. It is assigned to the institution which is saved for the caller. This is the corresponding institution of the work environment.
