Transport of Parameterized Document Categories (Enhanced)

Use

As of Release 4.72 a new program is available for the system transport of parameterized document categories.

With the new system transport program RN2UTDTS3, you can now choose between a customer transport variant and an SAP transport variant. For both variants, the transport can be executed in test mode (standard setting).

• In the customer transport, all development objects for the document category can be transported in addition to the definition data. Usually these are already placed in the transport request, so that this option is only executed in special cases, for example, transport of document categories from a consulting system to the customer.

• In the SAP transport, selected development objects can also be transported to the document category. This option should be executed if generated objects such as tables, function groups, reports, and forms are supplied as standard applications. This transport variant is used most often by SAP, for example, for the perinatal and WCA/PPA documents.

Note: The old system transport program RN2UTDTS2can only be used to transport document category definitions in Release 4.72.
