SG: DRG Data Exchange with the Ministry of Health

Scope of Functions

A new EDI data exchange procedure has been added for country version Singapore for sending DRG data to the Ministry of Health.

The procedure is similar to CCPS data exchange in many aspects and is also based on events, orders and messages.

Additional functions for the DRG working environment:

  • You can trigger the event for the aggregate message from report RNCDRGU0.
  • You can enter fields that are required for the aggregate message but not available in the IS-H system in table NCAGG. The table can be maintained in transaction SE16. Examples of fields: Revenue and Workload. Maintain this table for each aggregate message you create.

Create directories for storing DRG files.

Effects on Customizing

To use the functionality, you have to carry out the following Customizing activities. Proceed in the same way as for the CCPS procedure to make basic settings for a message procedure.

  • Maintain the master data and agreements for the data collection point.
  • If you are using a transfer system, maintain the directories and file name logic of the transfer system and the EDI procedure-specific number range.
  • Define the file name structure for the DRG file by complying with the official Ministry of Health guidelines (Customizing table TNC301F0).
  • Activate the procedure. Note that once you activate the procedure, events are logged and processed to messages.
  • Depending on the frequency of data exchange, you can schedule programs RNC30100 and RNC30101 as background programs.
