Change of Insurance Provider in Insurance Relationship

Use

In insurance relationship maintenance, you can now document a change of insurance provider without having to create a discharge and a new admission.

You enter the new insurance provider on the Maintain Case-Related Insurance Relationship: Overview screen. When you save your input, the system triggers an event for communication or form control. If the change of insurance provider concerns an inpatient case in Germany, the system directly generates a message for the insurance providers within the context of §301 data exchange.

  • End the current insurance relationship on the Maintain Case-Related Insurance Relationship screen.
  • Create the new insurance relationship.
  • Select both insurance relationships and click on Change insurance provider....
  • Check your selection and sequence of insurance providers in the dialog window and correct the entries if necessary.
  • Leave the dialog window and save the insurance relationships.
