Enjoy Admission for Outpatient Admission
Use
You can now also use the Enjoy admission (transaction code NV2000) to process outpatient visits.
You can choose from the following options here:
- Creating an outpatient visit for an inpatient case or for an outpatient case
- Creating an outpatient case in conjunction with an outpatient visit
- Changing an outpatient visit
- Displaying an outpatient visit
Effects on Data Transfer
Effects on System Administration
You can choose from one of the following scenarios:
- Use the standard SAP variant
- Create new admission variants for outpatient admissions
- Release your existing admission variants so that they can also be used for outpatient visits
- Then, on the initial screen of the new admission, choose Change Variant, and flag the Outpatient Admission checkbox.
Effects on Existing Data
Admission variants that you created in any previous release will only be valid for inpatient admissions. If you wish to use them for outpatient admissions as well, proceed as explained above.
Effects on Customizing
Up to now, you could choose Goto -> More Visit Data while viewing an outpatient visit, and then enter the end of the visit in the Date To and Time To fields, and a bed in the Bed field.
If you did not use these fields, we recommend that you hide them (using the screen modification transaction for screen SAPLNBE2 1400).
To access the screen modification transaction, go into the IS-H Implementation Guide (SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Basic Settings -> Screen Control -> Maintain Screen Modification.
Further Information
Note
The only option available for processing treatment certificates pertaining to an outpatient visit is to choose Goto -> Treatment Certificates. However, plans have been drawn up to make it possible to maintain treatment certificates online (as is already the case with insurance relationships, diagnoses, and so on).
