EnjoySAP Admission Becomes the Clinical Process Builder (Enhanced)

Use

As of Release 4.72, the Clinical Process Builder (transaction code NV2000) constitutes the technical basis for all patient-, case- and movement-related transactions in SAP Patient Management (IS-H).

The old transactions will be migrated progressively. For this release, it is possible to call the following transactions in the Clinical Process Builder:

  • Create/change/display inpatient admission
  • Create/change/display outpatient admission
  • Create/change/display surgery
  • Create/change/display transfer
  • Create/change/display discharge
  • Create/change/display patient master data
  • Maintain/display insurance relationships
  • Maintain/display procedures

To make this possible, the system divides the variants of the Clinical Process Builder into patient-, case- and movement-related variants. The variant inherits this property from subscreens that are contained in it:

Effects on System Administration

  • Prerequisites:
To make sure that the system actually calls the Clinical Process Builder, you have to ensure that the user parameter NV2000 is deleted or set to a value other than "OFF" ("ON", for example) for every user who is to work with the Clinical Process Builder. If you want to work with the previous transactions, you still have to enter the user parameter NV2000 with the value "OFF". We recommend, however, that you use the new functionality.
  • Changes to the SAP Easy Access menu
  • The SAP Easy Access menu now contains an entry for the Clinical Process Builder (Patient Management -> Clinical Process Builder).

The entries for EnjoySAP Admission as well as for the quick and emergency admissions have been removed from the menu. You can incorporate the transaction codes for the quick and emergency admissions into you personalized menu. If you have not set the user parameter NV2000 to "OFF" and call these transaction codes in your personalized menu, you will access the SAP variants for quick and emergency admissions. If you want to use the "old" transactions for quick and emergency admission in their previous form, you must have set the system parameter NV2000 to "OFF". We recommend, however, that you use quick and emergency admissions in the Clinical Process Builder.
