IT: Fields for Inpatient Process (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0 Industry Extension Healthcare, Enhancement Package 3, Support Package 1, Business Function SAP Patient Management (ISH_CV_IT), you can activate new fields for the inpatient process in the country version for Italy.

The following new fields are available:

  • Region

You can define the regions in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Regions. You can define the assignment or regions to provinces in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Assignment of Regions to Provinces.

  • ISTAT code of birthplace

You can define the ISTAT codes in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain ISTAT Codes. You can define default values for the ISTAT code in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Default Values for ASL Code and ISTAT Code.

The ISTAT code of the birthplace is available on the Other Patient Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.

  • ISTAT code of residence

You can define the ISTAT codes in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain ISTAT Codes. You can define default values for the ISTAT code in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Default Values for ASL Code and ISTAT Code.

The ISTAT code of the place of residence is available on the Case Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.

  • ASL of residence

An ASL is recorded as the insurance provider in the system. You define the ASL code in the HI Number field in the master data on the insurance provider. You can define default values for the ASL code in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Default Values for ASL Code and ISTAT Code.

The ASL code of the place of residence is available on the Case Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.

  • ASL of institution

An ASL is recorded as the insurance provider in the system. You define the ASL code in the HI Number field in the master data on the insurance provider. You can define default values for the ASL code in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Default Values for ASL Code and ISTAT Code.

The ASL of the institution is available when maintaining the institution.

  • Institute indicator

You can define the institute indicators in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Basic Settings → Maintain Institute Indicators.

You can edit the institute indicator in the corresponding field when maintaining the institution.

  • Establishment code

You can define the establishment codes in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Hospital Basic Data → Hospital Structure → Organizational Structure → Maintain Establishment Codes. You can edit the establishment code when maintaining organizational units.

  • Edit tax number

The tax number is available on the Other Patient Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder. Choose Generate Tax Number to have the system generate the tax number based on patient data.

  • Tax number indicator

The tax number indicator is available on the Other Patient Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder. You can influence the way in which the tax number indicator is processed in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Patient Management → Patients → Business Add-Ins for Patient Admission → BAdI: Change Tax Number Indicators (ISH_TAXNUMIND_CHANGE).

  • STP code and end date

The STP code and the corresponding end date are available on the Other Patient Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.

  • Organ explantation and autopsy indicators

The new service rule I01 is available: This rule checks the service type of the services performed against the indicator that marks a patient as deceased.

You can use Business Add In ISH_AUTOPS_ORGAN in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Hospital Basic Data → Service Master Data → BAdI: Determination of Autopsy and Organ Explantation Services to determine from the service category whether an autopsy or organ explantation has taken place.

  • Extra-budget treatment

You can define the values for extra-budget treatment in Customizing for SAP Healthcare under Patient Management → Cases → Maintain Extra-Budget Treatment.

Extra-budget treatment is available on the Case Data subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.

  • Consent for processing of personal data

The indicator for consent for processing of personal data is available on the Indicators subscreen in the Clinical Process Builder.
