ISH_CV_IT: Service Code Re-Mapping (Changed)

Use

Enhancements to service code re-mapping are available with SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare, Enhancement Package 3, Support Package 02, Business Function SAP Patient Management CV Italy.

You can use service code re-mapping to convert services entered using the in-house service catalog to billing catalog services for billing. The charge category has now been added as a re-mapping criterion for service code re-mapping.

You can only specify a charge category for the assignment type you specify in the parameters for DRG documentation. This assignment type converts a DRG service to a billable service.

This means it is possible to re-map a DRG service to various billable services using the charge category.

Example:

DRG code Charge category Assignment type Billable service
DRG01 A DRG DRG01A
DRG01 B DRG DRG01B

The system uses the charge category you saved for the case-related DRG as the charge category for service code re-mapping. However, you can change the charge category for service code re-mapping. A new Business Add-In (BAdI) is available for this purpose in Customizing under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals → Medical/Nursing Documentation → Business Add-Ins for Medical/Nursing Documentation → BAdI: Adjust Charge Category for Service Code Re-Mapping.

You can use method adapt to adjust the charge category value for service code re-mapping. Service rule I02 accesses the BAdI.
