ISH_CV_XV1: SAP Patient Mgmt Gen. Version - Insurance Verification (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 617), Support Package 04, the business function SAP Patient Management Generic Version - Insurance Verification (technical name ISH_CV_XV1) is available.

This business function enables you to use SAP Patient Management (IS-H) in countries for which SAP does not supply a country version.

The main features of this business function are as follows:

  • Deactivation of the country-specific components of SAP Patient Management
To do this, activate business function ISH_CV_XV1 and then maintain country version XV1 in Customizing under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Basic Settings -> System Parameters -> Maintain Client-Specific Basic Control.
  • More flexible configuration options for master data user interfaces and core processes
If you activate this business function, additional configuration options are available in Customizing under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals.
  • Use of insurance verification as the basis for patient accounting

This feature includes changes and additions that are described in the following Support Package release notes on the SAP Service Marketplace under the quick linke /healthcare-releasenotes -> Release Notes for Enhancement Package 7:

  • ISH_CV_XV1/XV2: DRG Grouping (Changed)
  • ISH_CV_XV1/XV2: Electronic Health Card (Changed)
  • ISH_CV_XV1/XV2: Generic Screen Definition (New)
  • ISH_CV_XV1/XV2: SAP Area Menu (Changed)
