Until now, the message “Patient … is deceased” (N1 081) was only displayed in the case list or case overview (transaction code NP10) in certain circumstances, for example if the user tried to create or change an admission or case-to-case assignment from the case list. It was also not possible to configure the message in the case list (function N00P).

As of the above releases, message N1 081 is also displayed once for a patient in the case list for the case overview. The system also always displays the message if the user accesses a function in Create or Change mode from the case list.

In this context, you can now configure the message in message control. You can adjust the way the message is displayed or suppress it entirely in Customizing for SAP Healthcare – Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Basic Settings -> System Parameters -> Message Control -> Maintain Messages.
