Short text

Loans: 2.22e: New Features in Manual Posting

Description

In this release, when manual posting is carried out for waiver and depreciation, the functions "Create" and "Display" have been grouped together under the function "Edit". The following functionalities are new: Generate taxes and default values.

Generate taxes:

You can define tax rates which create a tax rate in percent in relation to a transaction type. If such a tax rate is to be generated, select the rate in question and choose the function: "Generate taxes". A further special feature takes the following form: if the original rate is to be posted, the tax rate created from it is also posted. This is displayed in an information window.

Table maintenance

Tools -> Customizing -> Configuration -> Accounting-> Treasury -> Securities -> Functions -> Posting -> Tax rates

Default values:

You can define specific texts for posting texts. These then need not always be entered when you are entering a manual posting. You can simply choose one of these texts via Edit -> Default values.

You can also define as a default value, with which transaction type a preset dunning block or payment method is filled. You maintain the default values in the customizing menu for the posting.
