Sorting of Booking Unit Hierarchies

Description

The following function exits in enhancement JJH03001 are no longer supported in Release 4.02:

  • EXIT_SAPLJH02_003
  • EXIT_SAPLJH02_004
  • EXIT_SAPLJH02_005

As of Release 4.02, the following function exits are available to you in enhancement JJJBE001 for sorting ad insert and distribution booking unit hierarchies:

  • EXIT_SAPLJJBE_002: Work areas for booking unit heirarchies: Define sort criteria for sorting

You do not need to generate work areas for booking unit hierarchies, but if you do this speeds up the process of creating and changing ad insert and distribution items, since the system can explode the combined booking units specified in the order into the lower-level basic booking units more quickly when generating the schedule lines.

If you work with work areas for ad insert and distribution booking units, you must generate the work areas again if the master data records of the ad insert or distribution booking units change.
