Search for Requirement Elements in Agent Contracts

Description

A search function has been added to the editing functions for agent contracts in Release 4.02.

If you use the Search pushbutton on the element overview screen, a dialog box appears that offers you all available fields for defining requirement elements. These fields are available to you when searching for requirement elements. You can modify this field selection for requirement element searches.

You can make generic entries (with the '*' suffix) or use special characters ('+') when searching for requirement elements. This means that an input check (foreign key) is no longer possible. Please note also that leading noughts must be entered correctly during generic searches (Example: not '200054*' but '00200054*' or when searching for numerical booking units '0020005433').

You start the search using the Execute pushbutton. The search always begins with the first element for the requirement even if you are not currently at the start of the elements list.

If a suitable entry is found during the search, the requirement element is displayed in the first visible line. If you choose Find next, the next suitable entry will be found and displayed. This search starts at the second visible element line.

Search entries are retained for each context (requirement type) and are proposed during the next access. If an additional requirement type is accessed, the system attempts to take the last entry into account.
