Generic Object Services

Description

As of Release 4.02, you can use generic object services for the following object types:

Name Key
Order header BUSISM008
Order item BUSISM009
Billing doc. BUSISM010
COA BUSISM012

Basic functions from the following areas are combined using generic object services:

  • SAP Business Workflow
  • SAPoffice
  • SAP ArchiveLink
  • IDoc processing that can be performed for objects that are currently being processed.

The functions listed above are available centrally and can be accessed as follows: System -> Object services.

A description of the functions is found in the standard SAP documentation for generic object services. This documentation can be found in the R/3 library under:

  • BC - Basis Components -> Business Management -> SAP Business Workflow or
  • BC - Basis Components -> Basis Services/Communication Interface -> SAP Archive Link.
