Internet Application Component: Enter Classified Ad
Use
The following functions have been added to the Enter classified ad Internet application component in Release 4.62:
Checking and identification of business partners
You can define which data is used to identify and check existing customers. This identification and check can be performed on the logon screen or in the form for entering business partner data. You can for instance stipulate that the business partner number or the address is used to identify the customer and the password or credit card data is used for the check on the logon screen.
- Prerequisite:You have defined the data for identification and checking of business partners in Customizing and assigned the key for check data in the general settings for the Internet application component.
Booking units selection
You can offer several booking units for selection in the Internet scenario.
Booking units should be identical in their content component and publication frequency structure to avoid errors during entry.
Access web editor
The customer can access the web editor for creating, changing or displaying an ad spec from the IAC.
- Prerequisite: You have recorded the Web editor URL in Customizing and selected the Design performd in web editor indicator.
The ad spec URL transferred by the web editor is saved in the order and can therefore be used in output determination. See also the following 4.62 release note: URL for Artwork
Orders in temporary tables
You can save orders that are entered on the Internet in a temporary table. You define the reasons for saving data temporarily in the Destination for saving Internet data field in Customizing. Information about the postprocessing function can be found in the following 4.62 release note: Process Orders from the Internet that have been Saved Temporarily.
Orders selection
The customer can select existing orders and perform the following functions on the basis of this selection:
- Create a new order using the selected order as a template
- Cancel the selected order
- Display ad specs for the selected order in the web editor.
- Prerequisite: You have selected the Allow order selection indicator in Customizing.
Internet scenario administration
A special Internet scenario for administration of classified ads that have been entered on the Internet is available to you in this Release. You implement this Internet scenario using service JHAW_ADMIN, that is based on transaction JHAW_ADMIN. In this scenario, you log on as an R/3 user and select individual order items. You can display the order data and the ad spec in the technical system web editor and check the business data and content. You can perform the following functions as an administrator that are not available to the Internet user:
- Select orders for all business partners
- Select orders by order numbers
- Cancel order items that have been partially billed
- Change ad specs for existing orders in the technical system web editor. You should note that this
change does not directly affect orders in the Internet scenario. The technical system can however report this change to IS-M/AM using the IS-M/ITA interface.
HTML templates
HTML business functions are used to design the HTML templates.
Effects on Customizing
You access settings for the IAC in Customizing as follows:
SAP Media -> Advertising Management -> Sales -> Order -> Internet Application Components (IACs) -> Entry of Classified Ads -> General Settings
You maintain the key for checking data under Identification and checking of business partners.
