LIS Control Update of Hierarchy Levels
Use
As of Release 4.62, you can use Customizing settings to prevent LIS hierarchy levels from which you are not using any characteristics or key figures being run.
All defined hierarchy levels are always run during the LIS update in normal circumstances. However, lower-level hierarchy levels are often not required here.
The following hierarchy levels are defined in LIS:
Object | Level | Structure | Name | Definable |
---|---|---|---|---|
Order | 1 | MCJHAK | Header | |
2 | MCJHAP | Item | ||
3 | MCJHAGA | Billing dataset | ||
4 | MCJHAE | Schedule line/ad spec | X | |
5 | MCJHAGVZ | Sales agent assignment | X | |
Bill.doc | 1 | MCJHTFK | Header | |
2 | MCJHTFP | Item | ||
3 | MCJHTFPA | Partner item | X | |
4 | MCJKOMV | Pricing data | X | |
5 | MCJHTFVZ | Sales agent assignment | X |
You can prevent levels that are marked with an X from being updated using a Customizing entry. The respective tables are no longer run during the online update or when the statistics data is restructured.
Restructuring of lower-levels could be prevented using a parameter on the selection screen for the order and billing document restructuring programs. These parameters are now no longer required. This is now also controlled using the Customizing table.
Effects on Customizing
You make the Customizing settings here under: SAP Media -> Information System -> Media Information System -> Logistics Data Warehouse -> Updating -> Updating Control -> IS-M Settings -> Control Update of Hierarchy Levels (M/AM).
