System Contract: New Rule for Copying Template

Use

As of Release 4.63, a standard contract is no longer used as a template for a system contract if the standard contract requirement does not refer to the item type for which the system contract is to be created. (The contract category is for example copied from the template).

Example

A customer holds a number of standard contracts that are 'item type specific'. These contracts contain inclusive requirement elements that only allow one item type, such as an ad contract, online contract and so on. If a system contract is to be created for an online item (in a booking unit for which the customer does not have a contract), the online contract is used as a template instead of the ad contract.

Further notes

Prior to Release 4.63, the system only checked that the standard template and system contracts were either both AI contracts or not. No item types were distinguished here.
