Units of Measure for Change of Contract Category

Use

As of Release 4.64, the new unit of measure is determined using the rules introduced for Release 4.02 (point 2) if the contract category is changed.

• The system uses the item type for requirement elements in the contract item to define the unit of measure for contract update in number and sales volume contracts.
  If a contract only contains one item whose inclusive requirement only contains the ad insert item type, the system determines the unit of measure that has been recorded for this item type in Customizing.

Determining a new unit of measure ensures that the system does not retain the unit of measure that was suitable for the existing contract category for the new contract category, thus preventing assignments being created for this contract.
