Queued RFC During Saving of a Production Order (Enhanced)
Use
As of Release 4.71, you can use a queued Remote Function Call (qRFC) via the IS-M/ITA interface when transferring an order to the technical system.
A transactional Remote Function Call (tRFC) was previously used during transfer using the Create/Save Ad Production Order and Create/Save Online Production Order. You can now define use of a qRFC instead in Customizing.
A qRFC is an enhancement to the tRFC and offers you serialized Logical Units of Work (LUW) in addition to the transactional security provided by tRFC (unique execution guarantee).
Effects on Customizing
Activate qRFC in Customizing under SAP Media → Advertising Management → Connection of Media Technical Systems → Activate Technical Interface Functions by selecting the Use QRFC indicator.
