MED_MAM_1: Order Processing in the CIC (Extended)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Media, Enhancement Package 4 (IS-M 604), Business Function 'Media, Advertising Management 2' (MED_MAM_1), the following functions are available for order processing in the Customer Interaction Center (CIC):

  • You can Cancel Ad Items (using a similar procedure to that used to cancel items in standard access).
  • You can select the ad size from pre-defined ad sizes in the Format Proposal for Ad Size field instead of entering this manually. This function corresponds to the transactions JHA1N and JHA2N in standard access.
  • You can display the ad content for an item in the editor used to design classified ads (IS-M/AMC) by clicking on the respective order number without having to select the Display Ad Spec function.

To do so, you have displayed the Order Number with Hotspot column from the layout list and included IS-M/AMC in the CIC Framework. You must also check that ad content is available for the ad item in IS-M/AMC.

Note:

The ad content is also updated in IS-M/AMC when you select an order for processing in the CIC by double clicking on it in the order overview.

Effects on System Administration

If you are using the Order Number with Hotspot column, you can hide the selection column to improve the overview if multiple selection is not required (for instance to select several item rows for copying). To hide these rows, activate the user parameter ISM_CIC_MAMORDER_SEL by entering the value X.
