Moving the Publication Date of an Issue

Scope of Functions

From IS-M Release 4.61, it is possible to move the publication date of an issue.
This is only possible if planning has not taken place for the edition either on the old or the new publication date.

This function is performed by function module ISM_API_ISSUE_SHIFT.

If you use this function module to move the publication date, the system modifies the production units and M/SD and M/AM orders accordingly.

You can control how the system is to behave in modifying the objects affected (M/SD and M/AM orders) in Customizing under Tools -> Data Transfer -> External Issue Management -> Maintenance of Issue Change Types.

You can use report RJDVAEXTERN_PROT to display data transfer logs.
