Components of Product Kits

Use

With Release 4.63, you can create product kits consisting of a number of components for Media Product Sales and Distribution. The components of the product kits are recorded as media products with their own issue sequence. You can use the following transactions to process product kits:

• JKSDCOMP01: Define Structure for Product Kits (at Media Product Level)

• JKSDCOMP03: Generate Product Kits from Structure (with Generation Log)

• JKSDCOMP02: Edit Product Kits for Publication Date

Generation of product kits from a specified structure (at media product level) serves as an entry aid. You can also create and edit product kits manually for a publication date.

You can delete, change and reassign components in the structure via the context menu. You can also edit the components by double clicking on them or move them with Drag&Drop.

You can also (re)generate the product kits for the publication date via the context menu when editing the original structure (at media product level).
