Delivery Update

Use

As of IS-M Release 4.64, you can update deliveries soon after they have been created. The timing of the update is particularly important when checking return quantities.

The deliveries are updated by means of output control.

Caution: Manual changes to delivery quantities made later are not updated.

Effects on Customizing

Maintain the following Customizing settings for SD output determination:

• Output type
  The standard output type provided by SAP is JDEL. Use this as a template.

• Output determination procedure
  Assign the output type to an output determination procedure at header level. In the standard delivery, SAP procedure V10000 is used.

• Assign output determination procedure to a delivery type
  Assign the output determination procedure to a delivery type. The standard procedure V10000 is already assigned to the delivery types, so that this point does not apply to the standard Customizing settings delivered by SAP.

• Output condition records
  Create output condition records for each output type. You must create an output condition record for each delivery type that is to be updated. Copy the default values from the system after entering the delivery type.
