Import Assistant for Shipping Orders

Use

As of IS-M Release 4.64, you can use the new import assistant to perform a parallel import of import files to shipping orders.

You can choose the number of import jobs for an input file as you wish. You can assign each import job an area from the input file. This means the import jobs can run simultaneously, reducing the total runtime of the import.

During import, the import assistant displays status information, such as the percentage of input lines successfully imported. You can reschedule and restart import jobs that have been cancelled. You can exclude line areas in the input file from the import.

The import jobs defined are started by report RJVSO_IMPORTJOB_CONTROLLER. You should normally schedule this report as a background job. The report does not end until the last import job is completed.
