New Functions for Postal Charge Settlement - Switzerland

Use

In release 4.71, new and enhanced functions are available in subscription sales and distribution for Swiss postal charge settlement using the condition technique. You can still perform settlement by downloading the data, as you did in previous releases.

CH Postal Data on Edition

New with this release is the option of storing postal data on an edition in a file.

Create Postal Dispatch List

You can also now store the data for the printing program for the postal dispatch list in files.

Collective Run for Postal Dispatch Lists

If the postal dispatch lists are not saved by means of the printing program, they can be created once for each settlement period (month) in a collective run.

Postal Charge Forecast - Switzerland

You can create a check document for each settlement period for the postal settlement types PICH and PACH. For a detailed description, see the online documentation on the program J_1SFEE_CALC_SWISS.

Reporting for Postal Charges - Switzerland

The following evaluations are now possible:

  • Domestic postal charge settlement
  • Foreign postal charge settlement
  • Postal charge settlement for inserts
  • Monthly statistics of domestic postal charge settlement
  • Monthly statistics of carrier remuneration for postal charge settlement
  • Monthly statistics of format surcharges for postal charge settlement
  • Monthly statistics of foreign economy delivery for postal charge settlement
  • Monthly statistics of foreign priority delivery for postal charge settlement
  • Monthly statistics of foreign direct entry press for postal settlement - DE
  • Monthly statistics of foreign direct entry press for postal settlement - NL
  • Monthly statistics of foreign direct entry press for postal settlement - FR

Effects on Customizing

The postal delivery variants 12/ 01and 12/02 have been renamed CH: Foreign Economy Post and CH: Foreign Priority Post. The following variants are new:

03 Direct Entry Press DE,
04 Direct Entry Press NL,
05 Direct Entry Press FR.

The postal settlement types PACH Foreign Post and PICH Domestic Post have been added and you assign a settlement procedure to each of these.
You can make the settings for postal charge determination in IS-M (Customizing). Certain entries must be made in the pricing procedures in order to determine postal charge rates in IS-M/SD pricing. The standard system contains the pricing procedures STDICH and STDACH together with condition types and access sequences for use as templates.

New standard condition tables have been added for the new access sequences CHPS and CHER.
