Archiving the Quantity Plan

Use

In release 4.71, you can archive quantity plans in Media Product Sales and Distribution.
To do this, you can use the archiving object J_ISM_DMND.

A prerequisitefor archiving quantity plan records is that you define the quantity plan horizon in the issue sequence. The quantity plan horizon has the following effect on archiving of quantity plan records:

• You can only archive quantity planning records before the start of the horizon. By moving the horizon into the future, you release records for archiving. (The quantity plan records are deleted by the archiving process and not by moving the quantity plan horizon.)

• When a quantity plan is accessed, the system only creates missing quantity plan records for the media issues before the horizon. (Automatic creation of quantity plan records is not possible for archived periods.)
