Campaigns: Templates for Order Entry and Possible Entries (New)

Use

Campaign-Driven Order Creation in the CIC

As of Release 4.71, you can define campaigns in SAP Media and assign templates for order entry to these campaigns to simplify campaign-driven order creation in Media Sales and Distribution and Advertising Management. Template offers are used in Media Sales and Distribution and template orders are used in Advertising Management.

Campaigns that you define in SAP Media can correspond to the SAP CRM campaigns but this is not mandatory. If campaigns in SAP Media are to correspond to those in SAP CRM, the SAP CRM campaigns must first be transported to the project system using the transfer function in the marketing planner. In this situation, campaigns in SAP Media provide additional attributes for the SAP CRM campaigns. The validity period and usage in Media Sales and Distribution or Advertising Management attributes can be used to assign additional media-specific attributes to CRM campaigns. If a campaign in SAP Media does not correspond to any campaign in SAP CRM because SAP CRM has not been connected to SAP Media, the campaigns in SAP Media are simply used to group the assigned templates.

Campaigns are defined in the master data under:

Assigning offer or order templates to campaigns, greatly simplifies order entry. If you select campaign to which a template has been assigned during order entry, the system enters the corresponding values in the order fields.

The function for creating orders with reference to a campaign can be accessed using the following methods in the Business Objekt Repository (BOR):

This function can be implemented in the SAP Media Customer Interaction Center and the SAP CRM Interaction Center. An application on the basis of Business Server Pages can be used to incorporate the function for Media Sales and Distribution directly in the application area for the SAP Media Customer Interaction Center or the SAP CRM Interaction Center. (A corresponding component is available to do this.)

Campaigns that are relevant to a business partner can also be displayed in the navigation area in the SAP Media Interaction Center. You can also access the methods for campaign-supported order creation from here.

Improved Possible Entries for Campaign Selection in Order Entry

Release 4.71 has simplified both campaign-driven order creation and assignment of SAP CRM campaigns to an order in SAP Media, if this order is not the direct result of a campaign.

You can only assign campaigns to an order in Media Sales and Distribution and Advertising Management if they have an equivalent in SAP CRM, If additional attributes have been assigned to these campaigns in SAP Media, you can use an enhanced possible entries function (F4) during order entry, which enables you to identify a campaign quickly and reliably. This possible entries function contains the corresponding selection criteria required to identify campaigns and a list overview that contains the campaign attributes.
