MED_BP_1: Exchanging Industry Data Between SAP CRM and IS-M (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Media (IS-M 605), Business Function Media, Business Partner (MED_BP_1), you can exchange industry data for business partners between SAP CRM and IS-M in a number of ways.

Effects on Existing Data

There have been no changes to the function for processing industry data.

Effects on System Administration

You must implement the following Business Add-Ins depending on your requirements for processing and exchanging industry data:

• ISM_BP_INDUSTRY_MAP in enhancement spot ISM_BP_OUTBOUND

• CVI_CUSTOM_MAPPER in enhancement spot CVI_CUSTOM_MAPPER

• ISM_COM_BUPA_MAP_IND_CODES in enhancement spot ISM_COM_BUPA

Effects on Customizing

You make the Customizing settings for this function in the Function Modules for Data Exchange: BP table (COM_BUPA_CALL_FU) in table view maintenance (transaction SM30).
