TITLE LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT: Reorganization of IPM Integration Code (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Media (IS-M 605), business function Media: Title Lifecycle Management(TITLE LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT), the integration code of Intellectual Property Management (IPM) has been reorganized.

Effects on Existing Data

The existing functions and the system behavior have not been changed but some coding has been moved to software component SAP_APPL. This new coding is only executed when business function ERP_IPM_BACKEND_2 (IPM, Download to CRM of Material-Related IP Information) is active.

  • Enhancement implementation ISM_SAPLKEII has been replaced by enhancement implementation IPM_SAPLKEII.
  • Function module IPMBEARAWREC_EXTRACT has been replaced by function module IPM_RAWREC_EXTRACT.
  • The coding of function modules ISMPLM_OR_MAP_BILL_DOC, IPMBEARAWREC_2_BAPIMTCS_MAP, IPMBEARAWREC_DIMA_LOAD, and IPMBEARAWREC_INITIAL_LOAD has been moved to subroutine pool SAPSJPM01.
  • Parts of the report RJPINVOICETRANSFER, RJPINVOICETRANSFERPROTOCOL, and RJPINVOICETRANSFERUNDO have been moved to subroutine pool SAPSJPM01.

Activate the business function ERP_IPM_BACKEND_2 (Back-End Functions for IPM).

If you have made modifications to one of the objects mentioned above, you must include your modifications in the replacement objects.

Note:

For the integration of IPM between ERP and CRM, a new function is available to download the relationship between a material and an Intellectual Property during the material download.
