Determining Allocation Basis

Use

The Determining Allocation Basis function allocates entitled volumes from a termination point level to a contract level by summing volumes across all owners on a termination point.

The function then allocates the summed volumes to the contract level based on:

  • contract type
  • gas plant volume basis
  • measurement point type code
  • override percentage

After the allocation of the summed volumes is complete, the allocation basis for each contract is sent to the Allocating Volumes for Plant Network function for further allocation.
