Unit to Tract Calculations
Use
Unit to tract calculations value volumes at a unit level. (The valuation cross reference is established at the unit level so that the Valuation application area can allocate total unit sales to individual tracts.) Because rates can vary by tract, taxes are then calculated as needed by tract.
The calculation process includes a function that allocates zero volume transactions to the tract level. It also includes a function that extracts tract division of interests for producers in a unit property and then calculates the unitized gross revenue interest for producers.
