Two-Dimensional Price Maintenance

Scope of Functions

The two-dimensional price maintenance tool allows you to display and maintain prices and margins per material or per material/service type for a location and its assigned competitor locations, and then go to a maintenance screen for the location cluster assigned to the business location. You can then update prices for all or selected locations within the cluster.

In the two-dimensional price maintenance transaction, you can use the price change entered for one cell of the maintenance screen as a basis for making a proposed price change for other cells (that is, other locations and materials). The way that the proposal is calculated depends on settings made in the application and in SAP Oil & Gas Customizing.

For information on defining price differences, see Price Difference Definition.

The two-dimensional pricing matrix provides business add-ins (BADIs) for defining row-wise and column-wise price proposal logic. BADIs are also provided to determine price differences when copying from one line to another within the pricing matrix.

To display the selection screen for two-dimensional price maintenance, choose Logistics -> Sales and Distribution-> SSR -> Pricing -> Pricing

In Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream)you:

• Define the pricing procedures used in two-dimensional price maintenance and assign these to business types by choosing SSR -> Fuels Processing -> Pricing -> Define and assign margin procedure

• Define screen layout for two-dimensional price maintenance by choosing SSR -> Fuels Processing -> Pricng -> Define screen layout for pricing maintenance

To maintain business add-ins for two-dimensional price maintenance, choose SSR -> Fuels Processing -> Pricing -> Maintain Business Add-ins for Two-dimensional oricing and then the relevant activity.
