Holding - PM Orders (Enhanced)

Use

The holding functionality of the offshore logistics system allows offshore engineers to specify material requests that are to be held at the base locations (onshore) until needed at the remote location (offshore).

PM Order Maintanenance

The PM order maintenance transactions are modified to allow entry of a hold flag on operations and components.

If the hold flag is raised on an operation, it is raised on all related components and may not be changed there. If the hold flag is not raised on an operation, it may be raised or lowered on the related components as desired.

If the hold flag is raised or lowered on a direct purchase component, it is raised or lowered on the associated requisitions also.

When a cross-dock delivery is created that is related to a held component (i.e. hold flag is raised), the delivery is blocked according to settings in OLM configuration. This prevents transport of the delivery. When the hold flag is removed from the component, the delivery is un-blocked automatically so that it can be transported.

PM Order Worklists (New)

The PM Order worklists are modified to display the OLM hold flag. In addition it is possible to hold and release PM Order Operations using the collective processing transaction IW37.
