Zona Franca Manaus (Enhanced)

Use

On refinery sales and distributor purchases of gasoline, when the distributor's plant is located in Zona Franca Manaus, a special discount is used when calculating the Sub. Trib. The price can be different every month.

The discount calculation is based on the average acquisition price of total quantity of anhydrous alcohol bought from mills over a fixed period. The refinery has to register the average unit price per customer (distributor).

The special discount in purchasing is not deducted from the amount of ICMS Sub. Trib. on sales from distributor.

As of mySAP Oil & Gas 4.6C SP1, the value of the “presumed credit” is calculated by the system.

In Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream), you define the Sub. Trib discount by choosing TDP → Country-specific features → Country-specific features for Brazil →Tax ICMS → Maintain Zona Franca Discount.
