Outstanding Legal Suspense Balances

Use

The legal suspense balances can be displayed by property number. After each checkwrite, a job runs in background mode, and the data represents the properties whose credit suspense balance is greater than the user-set tolerance. There is a table, onto which all owner balances for the property are loaded (credits and debits), and they reside on the table either until the owner balance becomes zero (at which time the owner information is deleted), or until the property total falls below the tolerance (at which time all owners will be deleted). You can update the action date and the follow-up date fields with this function. The table provides a more detailed view of the balance information by breaking the information down be DOI. Only DOIs for which the owner is in suspense will be written to the table.

Suspense reason codes can be maintained in customizing under Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Production and Revenue Accounting) --> Ownership --> Owner Request --> Maintain Suspense Reason Codes.
