Interface for Delivery Confimation Processing (New)

Use

As of mySAP Oil&Gas 4.6C SP1, you can use this interface to automatically create delivery confirmations in the SAP Oil&Gas System. The delivery confirmation is the last step in the shipment process. The delivery confirmation contains all data that is relevant for delivering bulk products. You use this interface to transfer the following data from an external system to the SAP Oil&Gas System:

• Shipment number

• Ship-to party

• Quantities delivered

• Delivery date

• Delivery time

• Vehicle (per customer)

• Kilometers and time traveled

• Unplanned quantities

• Left-on-vehicle quantities

• Prior-to-load quantities

The incoming data calls up function module RFC_SHIPMENT_DEL_CONF_PROCESS. This function module creates the delivery confirmation in the SAP Oil&Gas System. If required, you can create additional sales orders and deliveries to support unplanned deliveries. As a result, the shipment is updated before the delivery confirmation is posted.

In Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream), you set parameters to control the delivery confirmation process by choosing TD (Transportation and Distribution) -> Interface for Delivery Confirmation Processing -> Set parameters for delivery confirmation processing.
