REMOTE_LOG_MGMT_1: VMIS Overview Screen (New)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Oil & Gas (IS-OIL 603) , Enhancement Package 3, Business Function Remote Logistics Management/Voyage Management and Information System (REMOTE_LOG_MGMT_1), there is an overview screen provided in the Voyage Management Information System (the VMIS overview screen). Based on your selection criteria, the VMIS overview screen displays a list of voyages with the following information:
- Status of voyage (such as open)
- Vehicle used for the voyage
- Voyage type (such as sea)
- Variances
- Status of business locations
- Base location and remote locations
From the VMIS overview screen, you can create new voyages, display existing voyages, and display shipments that belong to a voyage.

If you want to use this function, you must activate the following business functions: Remote Logistics Management (REMOTE_LOGISTICS_MANAGEMENT), and Remote Logistics Management/Voyage Management and Information System (REMOTE_LOG_MGMT_1). You must also activate Remote Logistics Management in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Remote Logistics Management), by choosing Global Settings → Activate Remote Logistics Management.
