Defining FM Account Assignment Derivation (new)

Use

As of this release, it is possible to use the derivation strategy of Funds Management (PSM-FM) for deriving Funds Management account assignments (FM account assignments). This has the advantage that you only have to define one derivation strategy which is used in Contract Accounting for Public Sector and in Funds Management.
If you use requests and the Funds Management derivation strategy, it is also possible to derive FM account assignments from CO account assignments or a reconciliation account.

In Customizing for contract accounts receivable and payable you define whether you want to enter the derivation rules for FM account assignment derivation in the same strategy which is used in Funds Management in the IMG activity Define Strategy for Deriving FM Account Assignments. In this case you call up the maintenance transaction for Funds Management using IMG activity Define FM Account Assignment Derivation and save you settings in the same derivation strategy. Otherwise, use the derivation strategy for Contract Accounting as before.
