Accessing FI incoming payments transaction using RA numbers

Scope of Functions

Access to transaction FB05 has been created (transaction FOOZ "IP residual items/partial payment"), which allows you to use the functions of residual items and partial payment for incoming payments in Financial Accounting.

The entry fields correspond to those of the transaction "Manual IP individual" with the addition that you can now select the partial payment or residual items screens. You can also choose to display clearing items (offsetting entries for the advance payments, special G/L transaction K in standard Customizing.)

Using CALL-TRANSACTION, you branch to transaction FB05 from where you can execute the transaction in the usual way.

Note that all customer items (and also those items that do not belong to the initially chosen rental agreement) are selected. We therefore recommend you to use a display variant for display of open items showing the rental agreement number.
