Disconnecting and reconnecting installations

Description

The following functions now exist for disconnecting and reconnecting installations

• Entering meter reading results from devices that have been disconnected or reconnected.

• Posting the disconnection charge

Effects on Customizing

To be able to post disconnection charges, you must maintain the corresponding charge schema in customizing component Contract accounts receivable and payable (FI-CA) under Business transaction -> Dunning. Please note that the disconnection and reconnection charge schemas can only contain one charge type.

Do the following:

1. Define charge types for dunning. Define charge types for dunning.
2. Define document types for dunning charge types. Define document types for dunning charge types.
3. Configure charges schema for dunning procedure.

In addition using the disconnection processing variant, you can maintain a default charges schema for the enter disconnection and for the enter reconnection. You maintain this in customizing component Utilities industry (IS-U) under Customer Service -> Front-Office -> Disconnect/Reconnect. Define processing variants for disconnection documents.
