Display Business Partner Roles in CIC/Front Office

Description

You can now attach icons to business partners. These icons clerks to recognize the role of each business partner. In the customer overview, the icons are displayed in the header.

The icons have following meanings:

@A0@ (icon_system_customer): contract partner

@AJ@ (icon_working_plan): installer only

@5W@ (icon_employee): contract partner and installer

@0S@ (icon_information): prospective customer only

@6C@ (icon_system_user_menu): contact person only

@4K@ (icon_intensify): general business partner

To use these icons in following programs, proceed as described in each case:

• Data environment

Create a configuration in data environment Customizing that displays either the RoleIcons (icons only) or the RoleIconShortText (icons with text) attribute on the business partner node. You can recognize the role from the icon. Configure Data Environment.

• Front office clipboard / CIC business data display

Choose the RoleIconShortText attribute for the object business partner in clipboard/BDD Customizing. The text and the role icon are displayed. The Customizing table must contain the following entry:

SAPLEWO4 ISUPARTNER 2 ROLEICONSHORTTEXT Define Object Presentation.

• Data finder hit list in front office/CIC

Choose the RoleIconShortText. attribute for the hit list for the object business partner in object presentation Customizing. Define Object Presentation.
